Analytics Overview
The Analytics section provides a comprehensive view of how customers engage with your WiFi network across all active locations. It consolidates WiFi connection metrics, visitor behavior data, and — where third-party integrations are configured — sales performance and advertising attribution data into a single reporting interface.
WiFi Network Metrics
The following headline metrics are displayed for the selected reporting period:
- Total Connections — The total number of WiFi sessions initiated within the selected period
- Unique Visitors — The number of distinct individuals who connected during the period
- New Visitors — Guests connecting for the first time
- Returning Visitors — Guests who have previously connected at one or more of your locations
- Active Locations — Venues that recorded at least one WiFi connection during the period
Trends & Peak Hours
The Analytics page provides several visualizations to identify patterns in customer connectivity:
- Connections Over Time — A line chart plotting connection volume across the selected date range. An optional dashed overlay line displays data from the comparison period, enabling side-by-side trend analysis.
- Connection Trends — Aggregated totals and percentage changes for four standard periods: today, this week, this month, and this year.
- Peak Business Hours — A bar chart illustrating connection volume by hour of day, along with a callout identifying the single busiest hour and the number of connections recorded during it.
Customer Mix & Geographic Distribution
- New vs. Returning Breakdown — A proportional visualization of first-time versus repeat visitors for the selected period, useful for assessing customer loyalty and acquisition rates.
- Most Visitors by Country — A ranked list of your top five countries by visitor volume, each displayed with its proportional share of total traffic. This data is collected at the time of guest sign-in via the captive portal.
Sales Analytics
When a point-of-sale integration is active, the Analytics page is extended with transactional data sourced directly from your POS system. Available metrics include total sales revenue, average transaction value, total bookings and orders, a sales-over-time chart, and revenue segmented by order type (e.g., dine-in, takeaway, delivery).
Advertising Performance
When a TikTok Ads integration is configured, the following advertising attribution metrics become available:
- Ad Spend — Total spend recorded for the selected period
- Ad-Attributed Visits — Venue visits attributable to active ad campaigns
- Cost Per Visit — The effective cost of each ad-driven visit
- Spend vs. Visits Chart — A visualization correlating ad spend against visitor volume over time
- Conversion Funnel — A funnel tracing the path from impressions through to repeat visits
Filtering & Comparison Options
The Analytics page supports flexible data segmentation to ensure reports reflect the precise scope you require:
- Date Range — Select from preset periods (e.g., last 7 days, last 30 days) or define a custom date range.
- Comparison Period — Enable side-by-side comparison against a previous period, week, month, quarter, or year to measure growth or decline.
- Location Filter — Restrict data to one or more specific venues from your location directory.
- Client Filter — Available to super administrators managing multiple client accounts; filters all metrics by a selected client.
