User Management

User Management is the administrative interface for controlling dashboard access across your organization. It governs the accounts of team members who log in to manage the TMRW Labs platform — distinct from the Customers section, which contains the records of guests who connect to your WiFi network.

The User Directory

Each entry in the user list displays the following information:

  • Name & Email — The team member's full name and their registered login email address
  • Phone — An optional contact phone number for the user
  • Role — The user's assigned access level, which determines what sections of the dashboard they can view and interact with
  • Client — The account to which the user belongs; visible to super administrators managing multiple client accounts
  • Status — The current state of the user's account: Active, Inactive, Suspended, or Pending
  • Last Login — The date and time of the user's most recent login, or "Never" if they have not yet signed in

Adding a Team Member

To grant dashboard access to a new team member:

  1. Navigate to Team & Access > Users in the main sidebar.
  2. Click Add New.
  3. Enter the user's full name, email address, and phone number.
  4. Select an appropriate role to define their level of access.
  5. If applicable, assign the user to the relevant client account.
  6. Set a password manually or click the option to generate one automatically.
  7. Click Save. The new user account is immediately active and the team member may log in with the provided credentials.

Viewing and Editing a User

  • Click any row in the user directory to open that team member's account details.
  • Select Edit from the detail view to modify the user's name, contact information, assigned role, or account status.
  • The status field may be set to one of four states: Active, Inactive, Suspended, or Pending.

Role-Based Access Control

Dashboard access in TMRW Labs is governed by a role-based access control (RBAC) model. Each user is assigned a role at the time their account is created, and that role defines which sections of the platform they may access:

  • Super Administrator — Full platform access, including the ability to manage multiple client accounts, oversee all locations and users, and access all platform features.
  • Administrator — Full management access within a single client's account, including all locations, content, analytics, and team management functions.
  • Staff — A more restricted access level tied to a specific client, suitable for team members who require operational access without administrative privileges.

For a detailed record of which actions have been performed by which users and when, refer to the Permissions activity log.
